nameAmanda serves as GHTC's US Policy & Advocacy Associate, supporting congressional outreach, research on relevant policy issues, and legislation tracking to further the coalition’s advocacy priorities. Before joining GHTC, Amanda worked with global health nonprofit organization the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation for more than three years, supporting their public policy and advocacy work in the United States, Europe, and across the African continent and furthering the foundation’s mission to end pediatric AIDS.

Through her time in her previous role, Amanda was able to foster strong foundational knowledge of the global health architecture, gain experience navigating meetings and relationships on Capitol Hill, and solidify her passion for equitable access to medicines and other health tools, specifically among vulnerable populations.

Amanda received her BA in international affairs from the University of Georgia. Amanda considers Atlanta, Georgia home and enjoys fashion, traveling, and getting outside for a good walk in her free time.
