Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) is a local Zambian nongovernmental organization that is committed to answering key health-related research questions relevant to Zambia and the region. Since its inception in 2001, CIDRZ has been supporting local ownership of high-quality, complementary, and integrated health care research and services within the Zambian public health system, as well as facilitating clinical, research, and professional development training. On-site investigators lead research trials and training projects funded from several funders, including governments, foundations, universities, and other different types of organizations.
